It is tough being 13 years old and I would probably forget trying to be boy friend/girl friend, but try these:
first - make sure that you are clean and tidy (shower, haircut, clean nails etc)
second - speak nicely (no swearing or bad language)
third - smile at her
fourth - think of something to say to her, if you havn't already spoken to her (admire her hair, jacket, whatever)
