Well why don't you plan a week-end gate away and surprise her. Or go to a nice dinner and show I don't know where you live but take a walk at the beach go out to a coffee house in the evening go to the mall so much to do. Has your mom been depressed lately. Just plan a mom and daughter day and tell her if she doesn't go with you, you will be real hurt. Just go for a walk around the block. good luck.....

Why does your mom not want to leave the house? Is this a problem that needs therapy. ie depression, panic attacks?
Activities for moms and daughters. take a walk, go shopping. go to the movies. go to dinner or lunch, visit a neighbor or family friend or relative.play pool, go to the zoo, go to a museum, take a weekend trip to someplace of interest, go fishing, go to a concert.. go to a religious activity. whatever ur interests are. mothers and daughters can do anything that you can do with a friend.

Put her in the car. If she is a shopper - take her shopping. If she just wants to sit somewhere - take her to a movie.
Does she have any friends? What do they do with their days?
Does she have any religious affiliation? Get her involved...
Is she in good health? Make a Mother/Daughter trip to the doctor...
Get her a hobby... read a book together - or separately and discuss it together.
Life is too short for someone to be sitting around doing nothing... remind her she needs a good kick in the pants to get out that door!

Shopping, manicure, facial, spa...for a treat.
Go on nature walks, hikes, treks, picnics to embrace the great outdoors.
Travel to the next town, go for vintage sales, and flea markets.

yeah tough thing. the easiest one is a dinner or lunch thing. just dont give her the option of not going say you will meet her there after work or whatever. or you could just talk to her and say that she needs toget out of the house and that you want to do things with her.

You first need to find out why she doesn't want to participate in outside activities.
Only then will you solve the problem
