well there are many of them perfectly free from spyware... but the main issue is the avialability of peers..
i use Ares [http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net] which is an opensource project...
LimeWire is also quite popular and u might get more peers on limewire than ares (which is more of an emerging network)

Ares for music (No badware) uTorrent with PeerGuardian2 for software, movies, ect (No badware).
