It is a myth to think that we can avoid trouble - it stares us in the face all the time. I have bills to pay - that's trouble. I am getting older - that's trouble. Gasoline is expensive these days - that's trouble. We face trouble all the time. As to whether or not to run from some derelict holding a knife with a crazed look in their eye, that's another matter. What I would do would depend on the situation.

If you face it, you can reach some type of conclusion; even if it's bad. The trouble goes away and no longer bothers you.

Running from trouble will only make it hunt you down like the pansy you are, and now not only have you lived in constant fear of the problem, but you have to face it anyway.

Suck it up, kick its butt, and move on. Next time, you'll know better.

Well it truly depends on what kind of trouble you are talking about.
A group of men with AK 47's or a mad man with a bomb stapped to himself.
Being the hero is not what it is all crack up to be most hero's end up dead.
Sometime it is good to face trouble but sometimes you need to know when to run like hell to get out of the way.
Man walks in while you are eating at Mc donalds with and machine gun and starts blasting away do you run are do you stay disarm the nut and put two in his head before the cops get there.
I personal would like to put the two bullets in his head but the smart thing to do is get the hell out of the way if you can and live to see your wife and kids.

Always easier to face it. If it comes at you, deal with it.

Like facing a gray wolf in the wild, you don't run.

Now, is avoiding trouble the same as running from it? I don't believe it is.

I would run from it. I am not a trouble maker and I don't want to start being one.
