Im from uk and i totally agree with the war in Iraq. If Sadam Hussain was still in power he could manage to get hold of a nuke and then he would be able to hold the whole world to ransom and possibly start a nuclear war. The cold war was only a few decades ago and WW2 only 50 odd years ago. People like u think ur so safe and secure and that nobody wants to hurt u and we can all jus live in peace but the only reason u have this security is because britain and america have been fighting wars against dictators like sadam for the whole of history. If nuclear war breaks out the whole world will end and everyone will die. I am not prpared to take that risk, niether is bush or blair. ur soooooooo nieve, u just think that the world is a big fluffy place and if we all throw down our weapons and let dictators grow and obtain greater power nothing will happen, and we will all be safe. Also sadam has killed far, far more people than have been killed in the war so saying that u disagree with the war because u doont want people to die is just rediculous, far more people will be saved in the long run, its time that idiots like u realised that and stopped ur stupid misinformed crusade against the very people who r protecting ur right to make these rediculous comments.

No. I disagree and I'm not what you say I am. I don't think the world is safe or that people don't hurt each other. The reason I disagree with the war is because I am prepared to take that risk. Think. If Saddam was still in power he would kill us. If Saddam wasn't in power his believers would kill us. Were screwed either way. Oh and just to lay this on your conscience, think about how many men and women die each day. Doesn't it bother you? Those people are dying. And why? Because your kinda of people are scared. Scared that one day they'll kill you. Walk up to the United States and blow it up. Hey, you know, if that's your definition of dying for our belief . . . then go ahead and write it all over the Great wall of China. Your last sentence is interesting you say that were idiots and that we criticize the people who protect our rights. May I ask you who those people are? Their not the people over in Iraq. I can assure you this. The people in Iraq are fighting because they have been convinced that there are nuclear devices located there. Has there been any real proof about this? I don't want the whole " Well I heard" or " He said "
crap. I mean can you actually give me something that the people of America can believe. You mentioned that people like " me "
disagree with the war because we think people dying is ridiculous. Your spelling is "rediculous" . But back to the basics. If I think people dying is a ' bad ' thing, then you must be saying that people dying is a ' good ' thing. So that means that the Haullocost must have sent you sky high in joy. Your sick. Oh and for your information I do realize the kinda **** we would be in if ANYBODY got ahold of a nuculer device. But what are we going to do if they do? From your statement it seems as if we should just lay down and die. Nuh-uh.No way I would just give up like that. Back to what I was saying. Even if they don't have nuculer devices then I guess were going to have to go back to the good old days when people killed people. SO I TAKE IT THIS ISYOUR WAY OF RUNNING THE US? Being scared huh? Not a very good tatic. But hey, if you feel the need to blow **** up. . .go ahead. Nothing's stopping you. Nothing stopped the US when they decided that the Chines needed to be brung down a knotch with a Atomic bomb. So if you can live your life knowing that the people of the United States are dying because a coward like you was afraid to face the facts. . . realize that your afterlife is going to be hell.
So. . . why do YOU AGREE with the war?

A CIA report stated that Saddam Hussein was probably at least ten years away from being able to develop a nuclear weapon.

Modern Britain didn't really start until after the Battle of Hastings in 1066, so saying that Britain has been "fighting dictators for the whole of history" is inaccurate, and the Chinese Opium Wars and the people of India subjected to British rule might have something to say about whether Britain itself was considered a dictator.

The US presence in Iraq is now part of the cause of the violence and the only way to address that and PROVE that the US is not a permanently occupying power is to LEAVE.

The justification for the invasion of Iraq was based on outright lies and distortions of the reality. I'm glad Saddam Hussein is out of power, but I am not glad that LIES were used to justify the invasion. Its time that "idiots like us" told you to pick up a history book and do some more reading. Also, there is a spell checker on Yahoo! Answers, and you need to start using it.

Because whether why like it or not Iraq was a Sovern nation. Just like the US and the UK. There are countries that were a far bigger threat then Iraq. We are not anymore safe know then then, In fact we are probably less safe know. And when you are going to put Lives at stake, it better be for a damn good reason with CORRECT AND CONCRETE evidence

You're of course entitled to your opinion but there are/were far worse leaders in the world than Saddam ever would've been. What about N. Korea??? They already have nuclear weaponry and they are a legitimate threat. In my opinion we had no business invading Iraq and have thought so from day one. Many countries have nuclear weapons and have had for many many years. I choose not to live in fear of what "might" happen. If that were the case why even get out of bed in the morning????

I agree with you 100% in the fact that we in the states are nieve as to how secure we are, I agree as far as something needed to be done about sadam and his regime, i've been there and that country is not pretty with what is going on over there , i really disagree with all these anti war protesters saying that innocent civilians are dying, i hate to say it but... IT"S WAR. you can not have a war without loss of civian life, most of the reason for all the anti war protests is media coverage i believe, prior to vietnam there weren't all the anti war protests that there are now and vietnam was the first true media war. Since we're over there we need to FINISH it. Get that government up and running. and keep the peace throughout the reigon.

It's not about agree or not it's about proofing justification to engage to war because just because one have more superior technology that doesn't make it right to just say they have this and that and without proof (current) can just come and attach someone governmnent. Other wise that is the same thing as BULLY!!! if it justifed and prooven than I'm absolutely AGREE to engage to WAR

Sort of like Clinton's war in Kosovo.. said we would be out of there by Christmas.. now 11 years later, they are starting to reduce the forces there. Bush has never said anything but that it will be a long war... involving hunting down the terrorists and eliminating them one way or another.. they are not interested in any negotiations.

Feel sorry for people who live in constant fear, they sow fear in others. Nothing new, terrorist has been in the world from beginning, life is worth more than fear of tomorrow. Seems what we fear and look for comes in a different disguise, only when we look back do we recognize what we "should" have feared.
