ABSOLUTELY. Colostrum is found in breast milk during the first few days & that is what is so healthy for baby. You can even breast feed & formula feed. I don't know why you only have 3-4 weeks if you have to go back to work have you thought of a breast pump? I tried every kind there was & Advents Isis manual pump worked the best for me & it costs aboout $50.00. Also if for some reason breast feeding doesn't work don't feel bad. You make the best decision for you & your baby. Formula babies are just as bonded as breastfeed. I know from experience.

Yes I've read that you should breastfeed for as long as you can, to provide good nutrients to your baby. How about getting a breast pump for when you're at work? That's what I plan on doing.
