The was originally a Planet of the Apes 2 but they did not make a remake to the Plant of the apes 2.

Yes, as a matter of fact they did. The original had Charleton Heston in it. They then made several sequels such as Return to the Planet of the Apes. More recently they remade the first one and it had Helena Bonham in it.

Yes.

It was a truly god-awful remake that Tim freakin' Burton made.

Which is why I can't stand that guy.

His horrible Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie may be even worse by just a hair.

YES! They did! It was starring Mark Wahlberg and came out in 2001. I think it was actually pretty well done and stayed pretty close to the original.

yes they did! same title, they released it in 2001. the first one was released in 1968! i read it on wikipedia.org! there based upon the novel written by pierre boulle (1912- 1994).
