How could governments pretend they don't know where Bin Laden is when they come up with a story about his death. Of course it is not confirmed but this information came up from somewhere! The man might be dead but there are those who might continue what he had started in terrorism and one way of doing it is make believe he is still alive. Then if governments confirm they knew about it, that will create more problems. Sooner or later the truth will come out! What is your opinion on that? Do you believe he is dead? Do you believe the governments knew where he was if this is true? Do you believe this is only propaganda?

In fact the truth may never come out. I come across people that say J.F.K. is still alive.
From what little I know of governments I can see how they can not only pretend things but much of the time they see their pretend as true.
No I take that back. They KNOW their pretend is true. ~;}

you know if the government knows where bin laden is they must tell it to the world because what he did is a great mistake and he would be kill by the americans , i know look what just happen to the twin tower it is a misery a great disaster imagine there are so many people killed there. he is still not dead he has some companionship worldwide the reason why he is very smooth to the eye of the army. it is only a propaganda, i think it is just a plan of the U.S.A because they want to control the sales of the oil worldwide knowing that baghdad fell on their arms now.

My understanding is that the story was leaked from a French Intelligence source. Probably for a few bucks or perhaps for some other reason. The information probably came from a word of mouth source and how can one tell whether it is information or misinformation. The world is a very big place and parts of it are very remote and isolated. Probably governments don't know exactly where he is or whether he is alive or dead. I tend to take things on face value unless there are very good reasons for doing otherwise.

Let's say you're the president of Pakistan. The majority of the people in your country are not only Muslim,but followers of the Taliban. Do you risk your own assasination or tearing your country apart in a civil war to arrest one man to satisfy the West? Or do you just turn the other cheek and wait till bin Laden leaves Pakistan,inform on him and hope he gets captured ,even killed outside your country?

As long as he is out there free then Bush and his gang can continue to terrorize the American people and violate our rights, It serves no purpose for them to catch him when they are going to need every excuse in the book when they invade Iran. It was the US who trained and armed him during the 80's, they know where he is and he is safe.

Time will tell whether it makes any difference. He wasn't really that popular anymore anyway. This would move him into Martyr status anyway. By now he would have left many orders for others to follow if he was revered that much. When's the funeral?
