why, when the BBC film any drama's in developing countries, do all the characters suddenly start wearing beige trousers and floaty white shirts?

Good question. I thinks it's that "Passage to India" / Somerset Maugham mind-set. It's what the well dressed colonial wears! Plus, as it's Casualty...floaty white shirts show off the blood better.

you must have watched to nights opener. I wish i had but i have a miserable old man of a husband that says he hates it(don't know why as he has never watched a single episode . I will watch the recording tomorrow before he gets out of his pit .Thank goodness its back on the screen with another episode tomorrow.
