While no one knows for certain just what the exact memory span of a rabbit is, I can tell you from personal experience that a rabbit can remember things very well. Not only do all my rabbits know their names (and come when called), but they also know a few tricks, and they know the meaning of the word "Treat". Also, on the down side, they can keep a grudge and sulk for weeks on end if you tick them off (believe me...I'm still in the dog house with one of mine, and it's already been 3 weeks--all because I didn't say hello when I came home from work once!!)

Rabbits have excellent memories, and are very intelligent - at least as intelligent as dogs are. Because rabbits are timid, though, they won't become uninhibited around you unless you give them your time and patience - which is why not enough humans know how great bunnies are. If you want to read a bit about how intelligent bunnies are, you can learn how to interpret their behaviour at this great site - have a browse to learn about rabbits -

I had a house rabbit (named Brae) who would get indignant whilst she observed my suitcase, and knew i grow to be going away. She would fling her clutter container around, to boot as her nutrition dish. She'd be ok for my roommates who took care of her. One time i grow to be away for 2 weeks; she gave me the 'chilly shoulder' for some day-whilst she observed me, she'd face her tail to me (not popping out for play). So between recognizing the suitcase meant going away, and then the reaction after, i'd say that is extraordinarily long!
