I have a good friend who i speak mostly when im online on msn messenger, he lives in another city but we are proper friends since we met through my friend a while ago

He has my phone number but that was only because my internet will cut off soon, we text each other once in a while...i didnt expect he'd be calling me unless my internet cuts off just to catch up once in a while.

But now my internet isnt cutting off, but he still keeps hinting that he wants to call me, he says things like "how come you dont call me?"

Yesterday he was going on about how he wants me to text him everyday, but i replied "whats the point, we talk online everyday anyway"

I wouldnt mind talking to him on the phone, but for some reason it seems like its going over the "friendship" threshold.....am i right in thinking this way?

You have to do what you feel comfortable with, don't be pressurised into spending time on the phone with him if you don't want to.
A simple way to avoid this is to tell him that messenger is free and you cannot afford to do text or phone him!
If he gets overbearing then tell him that you only want to communicate with him on your terms.
if he is decent then he will abide with your wishes.

I think your right are you not interested? usually if a lad asks for your number (no matter what excuse it is getting your internet cut off blar blar blar) then he's usually interested in one thing! If you haven't got a bf then theres no harm in chattin to this bloke over the phone go out wid him hes not that far away really!!

Yes he is going over the friendship thing,he could also be showing his true coluors now also he sounds abit obsessive,be careful why not block his number on your mobile tell him the battery is playing up or something and if i were you gradually stop talking to him.

Tell him to meet you somewhere to see what he looks like.

But dont take him to your house yet

if he's online, he's probably reading this now, so you won't have to worry about a thing, probably.
