Despite the hype, losing weight doesn't always lead to better health. "Seesawers" those who put on many pounds and then shed them may nearly double their risk of heart disease, according to a study from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Those who gain little or no weight and those who put on weight but make no effort to lose it may run no additional risk of coronary disease.
