They are pretty much always here, when we do get cool weather they aren't as noticeable. I have always been told it needs to be below freezing for 3 days straight to kill them off (including eggs). That doesn't happen very often, but it has, keep your fingers crossed and buy some off or something. Mosquito coils work great if you get the right kind.

NEVER! The mosquitoes only subside after it freezes if we are that lucky. They love me so I have to really watch out for them and I use OFF regularly...

Mosquitos are always around. their eggs sit until the conditions are right for them to survive. so it can snow one day, they will disapear. but the next day the humidity and heat rises they will return to their biting ways

Answer is NEVER. It doesn't get cold enough to kill them in winter. Buy yourself a nice big can of OFF!
