Signs of poorly run companies are:
- bosses who are not impartial;
- Managment's over dependency on one staff or one set of staff;

These are usually sufficient warning indicators that anybody's job there is not going to be long term. Start job hunting. Send request for transfer direct to your corporate office, only when you know of a sure opening. (not co-op, right?) Your reasons should be job related, e.g. better prospects, closer to place of residence, etc.

Meanwhile, keep your work corner clean.
- Do your work and watch for areas to cover your back;
- Anything left unspecified is fuel for future dispute;
- Anything left undone is potential trouble;
- If you finish ahead of time, keep that for tommorrow as a bargaining chip for time;
- contact the secretary only for work issues, preferably when her boss is around;
- if the boss is heavily in favour of a probably long time secretary, there is not much you can do about it.

Let's see:

1. You can't spell.
2. You have been there for 10 years and you haven't figured out how office politics work.
3. You managed, for whatever reason, to piss off your boss' secretary, to the point that she is lobbying to get you fired.
4. All 6 hours a day? Are you a part timer? Who works 6 hours a day in an office?

I think this is when you cut your losses and bail out. I don't see how you can dig yourself out of that hole.

My first instinct was to start keeping a diary of issue between you and this other girl, then ask for a face to face meeting with the two of you and your boss to make her answer for herself. However, if you have went to your boss and he will not listen, my suggestion is to go job hunting. Sooner or later it will all come back on her, but, in the meantime, you are just spinning your wheels and wasting your time. Go to a company that will utilize and value your services. And, just before you leave, I would contact your state labor board about the situation about your pay being short on hours consistantly. Just be sure to keep records.

Whether we like it or not, the secretary is the true boss in any office! If you aren't getting paid for all hours worked, call the Labor Department, Wage Hour Division to file a complaint.

Sounds like your attitude and work ethic has made you expendable.

You can't complain that you're underpaid if all you is sit around. The best thing would do is try to be as active/helpful/productive as possible to win your reputation back and keep your job.
