Yes, we would. Anyone who says we are "fair weather" fans or "bandwagon" jumpers are idiots.
The Yankees went 18 years between World Series titles, and had four awful seasons from 1989-1992. They are our team, and we follow them religiously. I guess you must be comparing them to your Tigers who will have their first winning season since 1903 this year. I have to laugh, because the Tigers aren't the biggest team in town. They are clearly third, behind the Pistons and Red Wings. However, they seem to have a lot more fans this year. Why is that? Who are the real bandwagon jumpers?
You seem obsessed about the Yankees. Could it be someone is afraid of them? Could it be that someone knows that their team's flukey season is over once they play the Yankees? GO YANKS!!

If they were stupid they would. Especially a Yankee fan where the standards and expectatiions are for a World Series...
A fan should not support a team if they do not show signs of winning. A fan should want the best for their team and supporting a losing team gives not incentive for the ownership to put a winning team on the field. You can still be a fan and not "support" how a team is being run. A fair weather fan is someone who only pays attention when a team is good. A good fan always follows and knows when to give support and not. If you want to support a losing team, do not complain when they go through a long streak not competing for a title...Do you hear that Cub fans???

That is one of the most mediocre question i have read or heard! You are taking pride of supporting a team that has lost more games than the ones they have won in 12 years? Baseball is entertainment, and you must really love drama movies for "supporting" 12 consecutive years of losing!
Imagine 2 funds. One started by a Detroit firm and another one started by a NY frim. The NY fund gives a 27% rate of return annually, the Detroit fund gives a -2.2% rate of return. Would you leave your money on the Detroit fund?
The truth is, the Yankees organization is a winning organization. They build teams to win championships, any shorter than that is failure. Yankees fan might not support a 12 year losing team because they won´t waste their money watching bad entertainment. I feel sorry for you and of how used you are to mediocrity.

Let me tell you I never new a Yankyfan that admitted it between 1966 and 1975. They had there worst years ever. The mets had been to two world series and everyone joined the band wagon. They are a all in it so they can be in the in crowd. I have been a loyal Met fan since my first game in 1968. They lost and 16 or so were struck out by Bob Gibson. In the mid 70's I would go to the game every Saturday. No one in the park, and then again in the 801's when they were good again. I like the game I love the Mets.

Just like any other fan base, the true fans would keep supporting them and the fair weather fans would give up ... probably sooner than 12 years in -- more like one -- and switch allegiance to the Mets.

at the start there is no reason to attack somebody by way of fact they left one letter off their question. sometimes once you're typing quickly it happens. people like this could be flagged adequate to get their profile checked and perchance blackballed. To me I actual have lost diverse understand for Alex Rodriguez as a participant yet have won understand for him as someone. no longer purely did he guy up and admit to what he did. He additionally admitted to doing it from 2001 via 2003. He additionally did no longer "rat" out his friends like another gamers from those days have with books so the followers can discover out the fact, while in fact they wrote those books by way of fact they owed the IRS tens of millions of greenbacks. As for those compelled to throw Barry Bonds interior the mixture. i do no longer see his call interior the question yet permit me address this. i individually on no account enjoyed Barry Bonds long formerly he cheated. Barry Bonds mentioned "I took the sparkling and the cream yet did no longer be responsive to it grew to become right into a steroid" and then he mentioned "I on no account took steroids" that style of confuses me by way of fact he admits it then denies it. Alex Rodriguez took all of approximately 10 seconds to admit he did something incorrect as quickly as all of us be responsive to the union would have made it disappear like they're going to the relax 103 names.

That is a difficult question. No because they only support a front runner. Yes, because they are drones who worship "their" team. They are a mixed up bunch in need of psychiatric help.
