I have this re-occurring dream about a house. This house belonged to one of my mum's friends called Irene. I loved that house, it was so mysterious. As a kid I always wanted to live there it also had a great big garden. There was something 'scary' about it and perphaps that just added to the mystery. In my re-occurring dream I always have the following: I inherited this house and now it's mine. It's exciting to go around and look at everything, I'm always enjoying it, however, the house is haunted and sometimes the spirit or spirits get annoyed so doors start to slam and the rest of it. Nothing violent but enough to make me decide to go away for bit. However, last night I just wanted to stay and wait for the spirit(s) but I woke up. What does this all mean? I really wish I inherited this house.

I think the house (because you are emotionally connected to it) represents yourself. I think you have some issues that you need to look into in your own life. Things you need to face... I think last night when you wanted to wait for the spirits it was your way of deciding to face your inner issues and find some solutions. Because you love the old house, it means you do love yourself, but you're a little scared at times too. Good luck!

You are transferring the emotions you felt as a child into the dream; the mystery and intrigue you felt about the house as a child turns into something scary, like a poltergeist, but now it's bad enough for you to want to get away. You woke up before you could find out what was scary, because you don't know what it was about the house that both attracted and repelled you back then.
You don't say how you felt when you awoke, this is always important to dream interpretation, but I would say it could be a reflection of your reaction to the unknowns in life; you want to hang around and see how it works out even tho you may be intimidated and scared by what is happening right at the moment around you. Houses represent our lives; after all your soul or personality, what makes you "you" inhabits your body as your body inhabits a house.
If you're at a stage in your life where you're in transition (moving house, wedding, new job or changes in your current one) it would explain why this dream recurs...it's a "safe" mystery that you know well and actually like.

U said u dreamed about a house that's haunted, well a house stands for u and the rooms u were running into could mean Ur trying to new parts about yourself that u don't know exist( that's the mystery, because Ur curious & the haunting) the garden in your dream again is ur inner self, the inheritice means u want to feel security with in and around u . haunted house = privacy being invaded
Someone's house = desire
You have some sort of desire that you want to own. However, you may feel a little insecure about that because you feel that your privacy being invaded. The spirit you were waiting is actually your insecure and conflict conscience. You may be curious in one thing and yet you are scare. I just means u keep thinking about it.. u really want it.. you are seriously considering trying to become the owner but u have fears that there is something reli reli spooky there and that u may want to leave.. tho suddenly u decided u wanted to live with the spirits so u woke up s u cud go and get that house!!!!
