I have always compared the way the women dressed in the 40's, and 50's as real glamour, they seem to have such grace, and know to carry themselves, such as Marilyn Monroe, who was really glamouros...i like to think i'm quite sophisticated in the way i dress, and i know how to be a real lady, regarding the way i dress i think that has something to with the way i was brought up, from a young age, living in France for a number of years, the French ladies have real style and glamour, what do you think makes a woman look classy, glamorous, and basically have the know how to be a real lady, is it just the way she dresses, that defines her as a lady or is it her whole personality, what is it that makes a woman a lady?......i hope this makes sense...and no. you cant just base it on her anatomy.

Glamor is an interesting thing. When you are watching women who really turn heads, you might notice that beyond physical beauty, good grooming and excellent taste in clothes, those women tend to focus on others, not themselves. Their beauty is not self conscious, but tends to have something to do with the light that shines through them, to others. I have noticed this with Princess Diana, Princess Grace, Jacqueline Kennedy and many others. They are never so lovely as when they reach out to others.

Great question, and Susan Donahue gave a great answer... I would also add Angelina Jolie to that list! =) I have particularly noticed this when seeing her in the last few months. She simply *radiates* beauty/grace/glamour/ a sense of inner peace... all at the same time. It's really amazing.
