she would have been ok except for the fact that she wa paired with a no body actor which although i didnt care for the disgusting excuse for a script, the twists were horrible and well i liked the effects and brandon routh did do an exeplary job of portraying the man of steel, spacey as lucy was awesome,, but i would have gone a different way with the script,, but yes kate didnt do a good job at all

As bad as Margot Kidder was in the original Superman movie with Chris Reeves and Michael Keaton in Tim (I have never read a ccomic book in my life) Burton's Batman movie, and that old skull face Famke Jansen in the X-movies. She looks Sooooo old next to her younger co-star who played Cyclops.
I mean, c'mon, Famke Jansen? She's not even a natural red head. And she's TOO OLD!!!!! They couldn't have gotten Alicia Roane Witt, a natural red head, a talented, younger actress to play Jean Grey?
Horrible casting choices.

She did have the look of a reporter down pat, and she is pretty, but she wasn't something to shout home about. She looks kind of like a woman I saw in a restaurant the other day, during her lunch hour.

Yes! She did not seem like the type that Superman would be interested in because she didn't look that hot and she was just dull in the movie.(yawn)

She wasn't the greatest choice, but she wasn't awful. The script was abominable, which magnified the poor casting choice.
Parker Posey was amusing during her brief moments onscreen.

I agree with you. She just wasn't the right fit. Who do you think should have been cast? I think they're trying to make Superman more modern and "fresh."

I do, at first I didn't wanted to see the movie because she was in it and she's not a good actress
