Tell her that this guy doesn't like her, even if you said no, he still wouldn't date her. Then say if she was really your friend she would understand. If she still doesn't care then she wasn't your REAL friend to begin with.

wow! this has happened to me twice && this is how i delt with it. first of all ther are two options that youcan do.

Plan A- this is the sneaky one, play dirrty. your friend prolly isnt that great anyways if shes trying to guilt you out of likeing him, cause you cant just stop loving someone...if we could the world would be a less complicated place. so, what you do is be the nicest you can possibly be to this guy, while your looking as sexxy as possible, then, you will have an awesome advantage, but u gotta be confident, cause thats key. Why shouldnt a more qualified person reap the benefits anyways? shake that booty for all its got cause your gonna need it if u use plan A.

Plan B- this is the nice rational way. simply talk to your friend about it. if she truly is a good && loyal friend, she will back off the guy if she knows u really want him. or you could both back off the guy, because is this is a legit friendship...a guy shouldnt take that away.

whatever works for ya is great, && i realize that this is a terrible position for you to be in!!!

Never let a man come between good friends. It is not worth the expense of a good friendship. Both agree to not date him, unless one of you can step back and let the other go for it without bad feelings. Have a heart to heart talk with your friend. Tell her that you value your friendship and you would like to know if this friendship is more important to her than this guy too. Ask her if she could let go of him and let you date him without any bad feelings on her part. If she cannot do that, then could you step back and let her date him with no bad feelings? If not girls, never jeopardize good friends. Friends will last a life time, the guy at best probably short term. The right guy will come along for you and one for her, but when he does it will not come between your friendships. We can't pick our family but we can pick our friends. Friends are great treasures that we need to protect with great care because good friends are priceless.

A friend that is so selfish she would try to 'guilt' you into not liking someone because she likes them? What the heck kind of friend is that? She needs to get a heart, take her head out of her own a** and butt out of your love life. You don't need "friends" like her.
Always go with quality over quantity when it comes to friends. She isn't a friend to you, she is someone who you hung out with sometimes. I say she can go hang, and you will then be free to pursue this possible relationship free of this dizzy girl.
Good luck

Sounds to me like your friend needs to grow up. If you like the guy and he likes you then you should go out with him. If your friend doesn't get over it then she is not really your friend? We don't always get the things we want in life. Don't let her succeed in making you feel guilty. If you haven't done anything conniving then you have nothing to feel guilty or ashamed about. I will be praying for you and your situations. Peace and God bless.

This is a no,no question. Get rid of those people, they are not your friends and about him, he's the only one who knows with who he want to be. Open your heart to him and ask.
