If you really, really ride it and do grinds and all, I do not know of anyway -- my grandson went through one every other month and really rode it.
Do not ride it and get a different board.

your best shot is covering it up with wax. to be honest, I dont think that will help much either. there's not much you can do so suck it up like I did.
