organic? not likely. Britain has been conquered and re-conquered because the break of day of time. It in reality grew to change into solid after the Romans, Angles, Saxon, Jutes and Viking were given by with it. Even then, immigration turned right into a reality of existence, especially from Europe. quite some monarchs actively inspired migration of communities anytime they perceived some benefit. do not get too over excited with the Germanic aspect, both. Well, contrary to accepted opinion, democracy isn't one of them (80 per cent of the population had no vote). Religion..hmm...their brand of religion still survives in Greece and its islands, if that can be called survival. The ancient language has not survived, but has lent words to English and other languages. The old Greek tradegies are still played today, Socrates and Plato are still remembered. These are legacies. However, in practical terms, Greece has little influence on modern life.

I can tell you one - my mate Chalky and I often go to big Plato's kebab enphorium, just down the road from the Horse and Ferret pub. We've eaten there many times, but I couldn't tell you how the stuff tastes - were always too bladdered to notice! It's been done by the health inspector three times but we don't care - mouse droppings add a bit of texture!
Tasty!
