Yes. Alienation can be awful. Surrounded by people yet isolated, apart from them. Very common in urban areas where no one looks at or smiles at each other. People scowl & hurry by. Subways are the worst...

Yes, but when you get to know the other people in the same room, you find out that your stiuation is not that unique! Alot of peole feel this way, but just don't admit it. I know I do!!

yeah, its an awful feeling...another bad feeling is when you miss someone even though they're stood next to you.
