think about watching tv...picture your favorite show, and watch it through in your head...I bet you won't make it to the end.

many human beings nod off with the television on so it truly is not any longer unusual in any respect. considering i have been on my own for various years I even are growing into the habit of falling asleep by making use of television. It has a timer and shuts off after I crash. i do not see a situation with this, why do you? Now i changed into drowsing on the settee merely about each nighttime till I were given a television in my room (1st time ever). If i bypass to mattress at my time-honored bedtime 11ish i will positioned the timer on for 30 min - and that i in many circumstances nod off in 10 minutes or so. i understand some those who stay wakeful if the television is on - they could't sleep.

Stop drinking all that caffeine before bed and eating all that junk as well. Don't eat or drink at least an hour before bed and resolve all of your mental issues beforehand. Otherwise, you'll just stay up in bed all night thinking of them.
Drink some hot tea, smoke a clove (if you are old enough), and take a hot shower.
You'll be out in minutes.

Ummmmmmmm !!! You can go walking & dont eat any thing amont of 2 huors before going to bed . You must study newspapers , magazines & solve the hard puzzles . If you eat an orange after dinner/ supper you can go sleep well . It maybe is a stress then it is beter that you visit a doctor .
Also for exprience you change your sleepping place .
Good luck

reading a book always helps (of course, something not so entertaining), actually it sounds like you might have too much stimulation as it is, so tv probably isn't helping.
i think you should give yourself a routine that calms you down and gets you ready for bed. do something that helps you unwind or work out more throughout the day so your body needs to sleep to recuperate. i would say that there is always tylenol pm, but someone might take me seriously.

if i watch TV it helps, i turn it onto sleep, and turn it down to like vol.1 if i don't have a TV or just don't what any light that night, i will go to the bathroom and get a drink one last time....and then i will set myself into a comfartable posistion and say to myself"legs do not move". then"mid-section do not move" then i go to my head. but the arms are the hardest part! get the last itch there! then when you have everything settled just close your eyes, and don't open them! before you know it, you are asleep. P.S. if you really need to get a drink or go to the bathroom, get up.

I leave the TV on all night! Usually CNN or something sort of boring and turn it down low. I can't sleep without it!
