They will probably rehash the same story. The first movie, I remember seeing in the theater (back in the day) and it was soooo good! The trailer looks cute, but the sequels that Disney has been coming out with haven't exactly been very good.. ie Cinderella II, Mulan II, Pocahontas II etc..... If the movie is direct to DVD it usually is of lesser quality. If the movie is going to be released nationally in theaters they go all out (think Toy Story I & II)
I imagine as long as they have their Disney vault to tuck things away for a few years, they'll keep making second rate sequels.
Of course, this doesn't mean my kids won't want to see it, again and again and again......lol...
have a great day

let me get this straight.... a Fox and the Hound 2?
there are some classics (especially that one which i love too) that should never be sequeled.
Ok i take none of that back...
its gonna SUCK>
Its not even a sequel.. looks like their trying to make it look like this took place sometime while they were still young. so its gonan suck since the first one had nothing to do with a carnival.

i will probably be good but i dont think it will match up. i too love the fox and the hound. the bond they created as youngsters, the force to hate each other because of their species, and overcoming that at the end to save each other is heartwarming

i'm soooo excited!
but it probably won't match up to it just because everything has changed. not the smae voices and everything.

Sadly, No. Disney has been ruining their great classics with TERRIBLE sequels.

No! They should start where they left off, with them as adults! Have the story about their children!
