I only live in South Florida for a year; hurrican number is decreased this year; I am wondering why?

I heard it's beacuse of El Nino; I need verify.

elnino has been in the pacific this year causung alot of windshear, also there has been an african dust cloud that was out in the tropics the first half of the season., and the bermuda and steering winds were weaker this year.

The Bermuda high has settled much further east this year so the hurricanes follow the high pressure system's clockwise rotation which results in the hurricanes heading north before they reach Florida.

all storms including Hurricanes follow path of least resistance.
Low pressure areas attract them. High pressure areas block them.

yes that is true elnino effects hurricane season. and whats great about it is that gas prices are going down
