He needs to move out of the way for the younger/better players

He's getting old.. he's losing his good looks and his wife is spending all his money. He can't stop now.. really. But what else can he do?

I think Beckham has reached the peak of his career and it has been downhill from then on. He isn't even player international games (well, Euro 2008 for that matter) He said he is giving up his captaincy so i'm guessing this is the end for him just like Hiroshi Nakata and Zinadine Zidane..

Lets face it, he cannot get down the wings very well anymore. He was never the fastest but he has really lost a step. So hat means his only chance would be in central midfield. But Real have Diarra, Emerson, and others playing there. So basically unless he goes to Right back, he doesn't have a very good chance to start anymore.

He has said he wants to retire with Real, so maybe he retires as a backup.

Coming back to the EPL would be the worst thing for Beckham as it is fastest paced league in the world. i wouldn't say it was the best, but definitely the fastest. And as you know, Beckham hasn't got a lot of pace.

I would recommend that Beckham joins Juventus in Serie B. It would be a lot slower and the Juve fans would love him for helping them out when their fortunes are down.

Other than that, maybe he should start his singing career.

His secondary career as a soccer player is probably coming to an end, but he`ll still do ok as a media personallity.
