There is one woman in the engineering firm where my hubby works. She is the one who takes off all the time, the one who always leaves at 5 while everyone else stays until midnight to meet a deadline. She has a baby and is always exhausted (understandably so) and does not pull her weight. The law makes it impossible for the company to get rid of her, so my husband and the other men in the company end up having to pay the price. It is not fair. Men are getting a raw deal.

Nope...I just started a new job this week and it's all women I"m the only man (other then the owner).
Most of them have been there at least 2 years and I'm making 15K more then them to start.
Thank god there is no equality in the work place

Whether you are talking about race, age, sex, religion... if a person works harder, thinks faster and is more for the company for the next person... the I'm not getting promoted due to my race/age/sex/religion card doesn't have to be played.
Nothing is equal... and everything changes. Do your best and let it all play out as it may.

In know it doesn't exist, I am a supervisor and do my best to level out the playing field but see other supervisors who want to keep it an old boys club and do their best to keep women down and from advancing....

Yes. But only in the sense that working life sucks for everyone. Regardless of age, sex, race, etc.
