Babies can go swimming any time, regardless of innoculations etc. But as its abroad and most likely an outdoor pool you might wanna use your discretion as to whether you want to or not. there's not actual reason i can think of but use your judgement.
OH AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!

It's best to keep babies out of chemicals, which include those to kill germs within swimming pools. Not only that, but 9 weeks old is a little young for being toilet trained, which is a normal pre-requisite for allowing any children to swim in a public pool.

Depends on what you mean by "introduce". If you just mean get in the pool with him, you holding him, should be OK. If you mean fling him in and see if he sinks or swims, I would recommend against that. Be sure if the water is cold to not stay in too long with him and dry him off completely after you get out. Also, use a LOT of high-SPF sunscreen on him if between the local time hours of 10AM-4PM. We took our babies into the pool once their umbilical healed up.

Are you Kidding?
Have you ever seen the contents of the filter system of a pool.
It's a fact that nearly every Kidd will have peed in the pool. we can not guarantee the water is correctly treated and Chlorine is not good for the baby.
Take a little blow up paddling pool and fill it with tap water.

Only if you know for sure the pool is kept to a very high standard and also if it is outdoors then the quality of water will decline. There are a lot of water bourne illnesses you would not like to catch in a foreign land remember we take our health system for granted out there it isn't as good.

Absolutely. Babies love the swimming pool. I think it is something to do with their memories from being in the womb. And as for holding on to him...I believe you don't need to be told that!!
Good luck

Never mind swimming. If you're flying, how do you ensure your baby is not adversely affected by variations in cabin pressure? If he starts crying with pain in his ears, how do you explain to him about closing his mouth and swallowing?
If it were up to me, parents wouldn't be allowed to take small children on a plane at least until they were old enough to understand simple instructions/explanations, about the above, severe engine noise, etc.
