There is no "getting ready" for the Entered Apprentice degree. You will have things to learn AFTER you are initiated as an Entered Apprentice before you can be passed to the degree of Fellowcraft. You won't "make a mistake" during the Entered Apprentice, or any other, ceremony in which you are the candidate. You simply follow the instructions that are given to you. You can't make a mistake. The Senior Deacon who escorts you will whisper in your ear at certain times and you simply answer the question in the way he directs you. It's not very complicated at all. You can't make a mistake. I have done the Senior Deacon's part in many initiations during my masonic career. Just follow the Senior Deacon and pay attention to the lectures and instructions and all will be quite well.
