yes ,but not all the time ,only if your period is due at a time when you could do without it ,,,have a great holiday

Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but if you are wanting to skip your period when you are on bcp's, it depends on what type of pills you are taking. If you are taking a brand w/ 3 weeks of active pills and one week of inactive (sugar) pills then what you do is skip the sugar pills all together and start a brand new pack instead. Skipping the sugar pills will cause you to miss your period, but yu may experience spotting as a result.
To be sure, talk to your doctor, coz s/he knows exactly what brand you are taking...

If you carry on taking your pill it will stop your cycle. I've done it a few times, but don't do it on a regular basis or you might end up with problems further along the line. Enjoy your holiday :-)

hi ya if you carry on taking your pill instead of having the week break then yes your right you wont have a period great for going on your hols or that special occassion but i wouldnt do it too often maybe a couple of times a year good luck

NO it is not true. even if you miss one pill you are at risk of falling pregnant. with my pills, i have to move on to my next pack of pills without a 7 day break....see what your doctor advises as all pills are different

It always use to work for me! Of course now i'm on a mini pill that has stopped my periods all together! 8 weeks late, not pregnant and counting! ;)

Yes this is true, its worked for me, Doc said it was fine as long as you dont do it all the time. Have a good holiday

No - normally you carry on taking your pill and this normally stops your period, but for gods sake check with Dr or pharmacist it depends on what type of pill you are on

If you are going on hols during period week continue to take your pills and then you won't have a period.
