How about "C". I place a spare cup under the drip and I pour whats collected so far from the coffee pot into my own cup then I pour whats accumulated in the spare cup and replace the coffee pot into its holder. Time is Money

If you fill your cup while it's still dripping, the coffee generally tends to be way too strong. A decent cup of coffee is worth the wait, so "B".

wait until brewing is over. 1st cups are strongest, last cups are weakest. You interrupt the brewing cycle, you've ruined the whole pot for everyone.

Don't drink coffee. But my husband does so If he's in a hurry, I just pull out the pot and pour it for him then stick it back under. No harm no foul.
