I need to travel Ottawa to Toronto when TMapleleaf fan does. I've never managed that leg in under 5 hours and it's taken upwards of 8 in winter. Doing the limit, ought to get you to Niagara in about 6 - 6 1/2 hours in an average day and avoiding traffic jams (hard to do unless you time it right going across the top of Toronto) and weather delays, like I've experienced in winter.

Edit: Lol TM. Hey..you just said it, you're doing 120. I got nailed by the OPP for that just outside of Oshawa and haven't done more than 105 sice. That ticket stung. You're forgetting some sections are even posted at 90.

About 5.5 hours. Its 4 hours from Ottawa to Toronto along the 416 and the 401. Then another 1.5 hours from Toronto to Niagara along the QEW.

Geez Scubabob, how slow are you driving? I'm drive about 120kmh and have done this drive no problem in about 5.5 hours.

Approximately 6 hours

It will be 5.5 hours if you don't stop and you don't come across any traffic jams, which is next to impossible going across Toronto. Realistically, you are looking at easily 6 hours and depending on when you hit Toronto could be up to 8 hours.
