As you now know, El Diablo is Spanish for Devil.

Spelt as Devil, it is the personification of evil in Christian theology. Spelt with a ‘d’, devils can be used in the plural to mean ‘lesser demon’.

An alternative name for Devil is Satan, which sounds similar to Shaytan of the Quran. Christianity also uses the name Lucifer. Although Lucifer is associated with Satan before his mythical fall from grace – Lucifer, strictly speaking, is an angel’s name.

The Devil’s other Biblical names include: Prince of Darkness, Prince of Demons, Prince of the Airs, Beelzebub and even Morning Star. Most of the Biblical names for the Devil are really just phrases.

Certain mythical, Biblical creatures are interpreted as being fully evil – but that’s just interpretation. For example, the serpent in the Creation story is popularly associated with the Devil. In the battle of Armageddon, the Devil is a Dragon, an Anti-Christ and The Beast.

There are also the novelized names, Mephistopheles and Lord of the Flies. And we haven’t even touched on the countless names of demons found in the occult.

Accept for Christianity and Islam, most of the world’s religions did not and do not believe in a personification of ultimate evil. The popular red Devil is a spiting image of the Greek God Pan.

I think he could be the devil. There's a mexican/spanish holiday called the Day of the Dead, and I think diablo is part of that or something, also. Also, there are computer games called , "Lord of Destruction, Hellfire", etc. You're probly right.
