We're all entitled to a lie-in, on Sundays at least. But what time is it OK to get out of bed, without feeling guilty that you've wasted precious time for the rest of the day?

I stay in bed until 10 at the weekends, mmmm heaven! I certainly hope you will be doing the same tomorrow after a hard, long week at work.

Time passes no matter what you do or dont do ,so its good to have a lie in till whatever time suits you,as after all you work all week and this is for someone elses gain at the end of the day, so in a way you are losing 40 odd hours of your liberty each week having to go to work so yes have a lie in and bugger the time.

I asked a similar question some weeks age. I will be in my pit until about 3pm and I don't give a toss what anyone thinks, Baby's thrive when sleeping and so will I and I'm over 50.

It’s your time and your Sunday so no need to feel guilty. I was recently so busy so decided to spend all day in bed today and it was great (still is)!

Ha ha, I wish. We will be up by 8am. A proper lie in should be just after 11am. It's still morning, so you have the whole afternoon to dread work on Monday, if you so wish.

Today I got up at noon; and believe me I didn't feel like wasting any precious time at all.

I'll be probably lie in till 8am but it's quite the norm to be still in bed at 10.30am.

I guess around 10 am... but I have to wake up earlier and go for my band's practice. Enjoy the lie-in.
