My favorite books follow a person or a family through their entire life/lives. My favorite authors are John Irving and John Steinbeck. My Favorite Book is the Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck because it is set in a much simpler times and follows the ups and downs of a very interesting family.

I like War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb, the Bible, and Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss...

My favorite thing about a good book is vivid characterization. It's great when an author makes you feel as if you know a character.

What I love? The fact, that I can read it only after finishing it. When you come back to some book, then you know that is a good book...

Of all time? "The Fountainhead," by Ayn Rand.

The main character, what he stood for, how he maintained his dignity and refused to compromise in spite of the immense obstacles imposed by cliques and committees and all those that would put greatness down to impose their mediocrity over the masses while exploiting the talented and taking credit for the labors of others. It illustrates the presumptuous fools we meet in our daily lives and how they, those talentless, incompetent, inept and malfeasant use influence and cronyism to keep the competent, talented and gifted, hard working individual down.

READ the book. You'll understand. It is a story where good perseveres and wins in the end. It is a celebration of good over evil. You'll want to read this book over and mark down whole passages!
