Hi. My name is Aaron. I am 17 and currently homeless. Life has been hard for me lately. On Christmas eve of last year I was evicted out of my house by the police because my landlord lied and said we didn't pay rent. The cops threw everything on the sidewalk. Then when we tried to keep our leftover possessions out of the rain and under the carport for a day so we could get a uhaul he threw everything away. We lost everything. Now here we are almost a year later and not all of my family has found stable housing. Or even a stable job. All I am asking is for some sort of help, if it be money, housing or even moral support. Something is better than nothing. It is so depressing working hard all day just to make it to the next. There is no reward and you find yourself in depression. So if you can help in any way , even if it be a penny sent to me, it would help. My email is aaronbroberts@hotmail.com

Thankyou

Where are you living? Since you found computer access, try looking into craigslist.com for temporary housing. I will be advertising a room there very soon myself. You would look at ads closest to where you are, and you can also post that you are looking for a sublet, and how much you think you can afford.

When I was homeless I took jobs at summer camps (room and board + pay was a dream come true), and then as a live-in farmhand (room and board in exchange for work). There are many elderly who could use some help and company in exchange for a low-rent place to live. Many small cafes and laundromats post ads from people looking for house-sitters, caretakers, and live-in handypersons. Be creative.

You definitely need to get a stable place, and there resources to help you find it. Keep looking. If you are in the NYC or W. Va. area I know some folks who may be able to help you.

I just want to comment on the people who think you may not be homeless because you have email....have any of them ever heard of a LIABRARY??? You can use a computer for free there....also friends have computers too....I hate pessimists like that! I was homeless when I was 17 too hunny....I lived in Pennsylvania at the time and it was winter time!! It was awful I was never so cold and wet in all my life! Friends helped when they could but they didn't offer me a place cause I was homeless WITH my boyfriend....well he ended up in jail...he was very abusive to me...I did find a place to stay and got a job and saved money and by the time I was 18 I had my own apt and furniture and everything...it was a lot of hard work. All you jerks who think because he has email he is scamming you....can't he have something good?? GEEEEEZZZZ!!! I'd offer more than this but I am broke...big time! I lost my job in May and looking for another one!! xoxo Good Luck!

I guess my first question is how you have an email address if you're homeless. If your situation is legitimate, I suggest you contact Catholic Charities. They'll be able to help you and your family get on better footing.

You must have a Blackberry to have an email address and also be homeless. Try your scam somewhere else.
