Around 2 weeks after the first day of your period, but again everyone's cycle is slightly different. The best accurate way is to check your Basil temperature or buy an ovulation kit. I've never tried it to I cannot give you ddetailed instructions how to.

It's a common misconception (excuse the pun) that you're fertile 14 days after your period. You're actually most fertile around 16 to 10 days *before* your period. Ovulation triggers the release of hormones and if the egg is fertilised then it will implant and the hormone levels stay high, if it is not then hormone levels drop and you have a period. If you miss ovulation, or it is late, then this is reflected in your cycle.
So, for example, if you have a cycle that lasts 30 days, assuming you are most fertile 14 days before your period, then you are actually most fertile on day 16. A woman with a cycle of 28 days is therefore going to be fertile on a different day (day 14) to one whose cycle is 35 days (day 21).
For this reason, it's best to first work out the length of your cycle, counting the first day of your period as day 1 of a new cycle. Then you can either take your temperature every day and watch for a temperature rise to indicate you have ovulated, or buy an ovulation predictor kit (OPK) to tell you when you are about to ovulate. Then you can try on the best days to suit your cycle.

count 14 days backwards from the last day of your cycle. Lets say your period comes every 27 days then 27 minus 14= 13. On the 13th day you're ovulating. Most fertile days: I would say 2 to 3 days before the day you are ovulating.

depends one cycle lenth, regularity, and the woman. Its different with everyone. You can even ovulate on a different day every cycle.
The best way to get a basic idea is to get some ovulation tests from a medical wholesaler. You can buy them in bulk on ebay, and pee on a stick every day.
50 runs about 25 bucks.

it depends on how long your cycle is its usually around day 14 but to be sure you can buy an ovulating kit which contains five test and tells you how to work out the days you are most likely to conceive and all you do is wee on the test around the time that you worked out to be ovulating and it will tell you if you are ovulating or not
