Was married long before the marriage tax, will be married long after the marriage tax
Tax codes change weekly, and still never manage to be fair to everyone

We are and do not pay joint taxes. Never have. Why resent it? Just don't do it.

The joint taxes actually work out to our advantage . What I don't get is why the government insists on mailing me the check in my name when we get a rebate - Now I refuse to do the banking and my wife does it all - They don't care it comes in the man's name

Thanks to President Bush there is no longer a Marriage Penalty. Read up on current tax code before you put out ignorance.
