about to get my period within the next few days..and i leave for a week long trip on thursday..is there any way to delay my period until after the trip is over?? I was on orthotricyclen lo at one time but stopped about a year ago..

You can do it but because your body is so close to your period it may cause you to feel all the signs of your pms. I did it and had cramping the whole time and felt like crap

Call you Dr. It is possible to stop your period. You may spot the first day because the cycle is so close but chance are you'll be OK. Of course if you usually have cramps, water retention or other PMS signs those may still occur.
