This is what i did as a kid, but i found out another way, i would get a mouth full of water and gargle it, the kind when you are ooking up and people can see your nostrils, and hold your breath when you are doing it 2.

Another way is to put 2 ice cubes next to your adam's apple

This is what my husband does, it's hard to describe and looks stupid, but it works.

He puts his head in a sink (backwards) and drinks a glass of water. So drink water backwards... sorry, I really need to take a picture of it so people can have a better visual than my description gives.

Whatever way works, good luck.

Stick your right index finger in your left ear and your left pinky finger in your right ear. By the time you figure out how to do this, your hiccups will be gone. LOL Just kidding chic!! Good luck with the hiccups!!

Swallow a teaspoon of vinegar. Don't try if you have a weak/bad throat.

Drink warm-hot water instead of cold water.

Get somebody to scare you.

try eating a tablespoon of granulated sugar.... It often works for me .. just let it dissolve in your mouth a little and swallow it slowly. there is something about it that makes the spasms in your asophogus stop.
