not at all - i hate to think kids are taking themselves so seriously they can't have a little fun like that..
i work at a college..and alot of the kids still play dress up..on halloween and sometimes every other day of the year.
it's fun.
this year i'm going to be a cop

No I don't think it's foolish,I am 40 and we have a big halloween party every year and we all dress up.As far as what I would go as I would say something you feel comfortable with and if it's to school something were you won't get in trouble,Mark

"Foolishness" is a subjective experience you create from your own internal reasoning about yourself.
If dressing up for Halloween is something that you find exciting - DO IT. It's your choice whether or not you feel a fool the next morning.
Whatever you do - don't dress up as the "fool".

no. what's the fun of Halloween if you don't dress up? Just don't do the thing that a lot of teens do now by dressing up as characters from little kid t.v. shows. It's stupid

Never! I'm dressing up until the day I die.
But trick-or-treating is another matter. I stopped that when I was 11. You have no idea where that candy's been.:o
I have costumes for different occasions in Octobor (it's way too hard just to get one costume when there's so much available around that month.), but for the main event I'm thinking cardboard box robot.

Halloween is fun, you are never too old to dress up and have fun. I went as Santa Claus. I am female and went to a club as Santa. Some women sat on my lap and was flirting and told me she wanted a new husband. It was hilarious when she discovered I was female and not male.

No way! But if you're embarsed to go all out, a halloween hat and light up necklace will do the trick.

no i think its great dressing up, i think i would dress up as a witch,but where i come from we dont take halloween that serious

no! everyone dresses up and goes to halloween/costume parties.. i'm in my senior year of college and everyone dresses up and goes to parties or to bars... just dont be something stupid that every other girl will be.. naughty schoolgirl, cop, nurse, etc
