offer scenarios of tempting situations..... like ever have a time when you knew it was wrong to do this and you did it type stuff

You might want to start out by using an example of a famous person who succumbed to temptation and suffered some consequences for it- like Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski, Willie Nelson and his recent Marijuana bust, Christie Brinkley's husband cheating on her with a 19 year old, etc...

Well for almost any essay, a good quote by some nice famous (not necessaritly living) person, really drives the rest of the essay. Try it for all essays. They used to even advise us this in school...

Humans are so good at doing what they are not supposed to so I would start with a tempting sentence in the line of: "Attention, do not read the following".

Start with something really subtle and mysterious. If all else fails, ask your readers a question. For example, start with "What in this world tempts you?"

Start with a personal example, even if its fictitious: "I wanted to sleep with him, but..." Its human nature to be inquisitive about the "business" of others, so that might do the trick. You also have to have a great opening paragraph, or sentence. Good luck!
