My smallpox vaccination scar is on my upper left arm, over my muscle, about 1/2 " in diameter. I have a smaller scar beside it where I got a booster.

Funny you should ask that - it's only a day or two ago that I realized mine wasn't there any more. I seem to remember it still being visible on my left upper arm when I was in my teens but I haven't a clue when it disappeared. I've put on some weight over the years and maybe it's the stretching of the skin that ironed it out.
