They all have different names and myself not being from Seattle but moving there in a few months for a few months I would like to be familar with it. I would like to know which neighborhood is better for living for young adults. There will be 6 of us. We want to be entertained by the city.

Depending on what you are looking for and how young you are, here are the neighborhoods I'd recommend:

~ Belltown, mostly made up of young, hip twenty-somethings. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops. One of the "downtown" neibghborhoods

~ Lower Queen Anne/Uptown, also made up of young, hip twenty/thirty-somethings. Bars, restaurants and close to Seattle Center & Key Arena. A quick busride from downtown.

~ Fremont, more eclectic crowd, somewhat more granola. Bars, restaurants, and a great farmers market. A little further north of downtown, but still very short bus ride.

~ Wallingford, diverse population, lots of ethnic restaurants, near UW, express bus to downtown.

You can find a lot of info on the different neighborhoods on Wikipedia:

Hope you have a great time while you are here!

I live in the north end called northgate, its very suburban you dont want to livee here if your looking to be entertained by the city, so i would say capitol hill, the u district, queen ann hill, or freemont. Those places are all near something and you gotta go to one of the others for something else. Either way youll love it here.
