I have a roster spot open from a recent trade and would like to pick a good RB to add to My stable. Here are the couple that are available who I'm thinkin about.
M Turner
M Barber
J Norwood
B Jacobs

Who would you pick up, this could be used in a trade later too.

Chargers RB Michael Turner had 13 carries for 138 yards against the Titans. Turner also had two catches for 17 yards. Turner is worth owning as insurance for LaDainian Tomlinson owners, but also might be worth grabbing if you have room on your bench. With the way he's running, he could be used as a No. 3 RB when your starter is on a bye.

Marion Barber carried eight times for 39 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against Washington. He also chipped in with one reception for 26 yards. Fantasy owners of Julius Jones have been worrying that Barber and Jones might split carries, but Barber is still seeing half as many touches. Barber is only worth using as a No. 3 or 4 Fantasy back in leagues of 12 or more teams for Week 4 at Tennessee once the team returns from its bye.

Falcons RB Jerious Norwood had nine carries for 45 yards anf a 12-yard reception vs. Tampa Bay in Week 2. Norwood appears to be good for around 10 touches and 50-to-75 yards per game. That could make him a decent No. 3 bye-week replacement RB in deeper leagues; use him in that role when he plays at New Orleans in Week 3.

Giants RB Tiki Barber, who rebruised his left forearm during the Philadelphia game, will once again get occasional help from RB Brandon Jacobs on regular downs as Jacobs' role continues to expand. Barber's 51 yards last week marked his lowest rushing output since 2004. Keep an eye on Barber's injury status leading up to kickoff on Sunday, but as of now, Jacobs value lies in his chances to score touchdowns and not racking up big yardage.

You didn't say which RBs you have, but it is never a bad idea to grab your handcuff.

If it were me, I would look to Norwood or Jacobs. Both Tiki are Dunn are 31, and have nursed themselves through injuries already. Norwood is getting 5-10 carries already, and could be a good garbage time fill-in.

Jacobs is a huge beast. He's a goal-line guy, and if Tiki breaks down, you have the keys to the City.

In truth, any one of these guys could be great. I love Turner, but LT always plays through his injuries. The Chargers aren't going to have the luxury of letting him finish every game, with their brutal schedule.

Who knows about Barber III. The Tuna is very fickle.

Brandon Jacobs isn't a bad choice, especially if you have Tiki Barber on your roster. Jacobs gets a considerable majority of the goaline carries, and the result is quite a few TD's.
