It is really easy to speak kindly about someone and the amazing thing is that the words stay with you for a lifetime. Imagine the kind of impact you can have on a person's life simply by being kind.

Because something that's so easy to do can have a far reaching effect - someone who's given a kind word could have a better day, and be in a good mood, more confident. They in turn could make different decisions, be nicer to other people, who are in turn nicer to others and so on and so forth - like a pebble thrown in a pond - ripples just keep going.

Anyone can say kind words. The people that truly mean them and stick with them will last forever as will the results of the kindness.

It means that if you say something nice to someone, it is easy to say and the feeling the person gets from what you said can stay with them for a very long time! It can boost a persons confidence when you may never even know what you did for that person.

It means if they are the words spoken out of genuine sencerity that these kinds words make others feel good about themselves, therefore they will spread kind words about others who will spread kind words about others, an epidemic of sorts but an analogetic echo none-the-less.

It's easy and painless to give compliments, praise, sympathy, etc., but the effect of them can profound. For example, as a teacher, I try to praise all of my children when they've done a good job and provide encouragement when they need a boost to reach their potential. It's easy to see the good in my students and to show them that I care, and sometimes, it means the world to them to hear that someone's proud of them.

It is so easy to repeat ugly rumors and nasty gossip....BUT...sweet phrases and saying something positive and kind is rare. When someone talks and says a kind thing about another, it should be valued and repeated. It is carried on if repeated and given to others.
"Gossip is character assassination; a good word is healing and humbling."

It means that if you give someone a kind word no matter how small they will always carry it with them in their heart.
