What theme would go good with a belly dancing performance?

A theme that is not arabic, what other themes can i have, in which i can include some belly dancing. By the way is a sweet 16 party.

You could do a Renaissance theme (knights, ladies, etc) as there were belly dancers then, you could do a gypsy theme, or you could do India or egyptian - as they also do belly dance. You could also do a dance theme.

What about mythical creatures?....ie genies.....fairies....most 16 yr olds would dress up if they get a chance and know that others are too.....
