A real friend: 1. A trustworthy person. 2. Stays by your side. 3. Doesn't hesitate to give you their real opinion 4. Can talk to you about everything and anything. 5. Can tell your real emotions. 6. Can't stay angry at you for too long. 7. Knows you almost better than yourself. 8. Is your friend no matter what happens. 9. Doesn't believe any random BS about you. 10. Can stay close no matter what distance. An acquaintance: 1. Talks to you occasionally 2. Won't stay by your side 3. Can easily believe gossip about you. Remember: A GOOD friend will bail you out of jail, but a REAL friend will be sitting next to you saying: we really screwed up.

My best friend, who is a guy, is the best person ever! He's like a brother to me. He's not gay or anything,he has a crush on a girl and whatnot if that's what people are thinking, it's just that a lot of girls blurt your secrets and sometimes people who you think are your bestfriends, end up being backstabbers..DONT GET ME WRONG... I have some WONDERFUL girl best friends who are always there for me. That friendboy i have is so funny, smart, caring and we share a good bit of secrets,,,we're always there for one another...and i love him very much...everyone at school thinks we are dating because we're always around each other, or they tell us we like each other more than "just friends" but its not true...he just says they are jealous and dont understand thet you can be best friends with someone of the opposite sex..........but i dont listen to those stupid people.
i love him like a brother and we'll be best friends for life......................................
ohh....sorry about my little personal issues;
honesty, ability to keep secrets..being there when you need them, cheering you up when your down..liking you for who you are...treating you great..sticking up for you...........those are great qualities of a best friend..at least i think so.

a best friend is someone you are comfortable around, you may have differnet opinions but you just laugh at the other one and go on. You want the best for that person and you are willing to allow them space to be who they are!

The best friend is one who never tells your secrets, cheers you when you're sad, helps you when you need, talks to you about anything and especially when no one else will, never lies to you, always trustworthy and loyal, never deserts you, and is happy to be your friend.

someone who u can say anything to and they will always take wat u say and try to understand it.
the one person in the world that u can b totally honest and open with b/c u no that they would nvr hurt u, even if they hated u one day
