No, he was never actually signed to them, he was signed to aftermath and was put in G=Unit by Dr.Dre. G-unit is under aftermath and that was the association. He was no way contractually tied to them, just used as a marketing tool to promote his own album under the same umbrella. He is now with Geffen records.

no i dont think so hes still independent but he hooks up w/the the unit quite often
