I started the summer weighing 182 lbs. I'm only 5'4 so that was seriously overweight. Now I weigh 159 lbs. I am very active and I am on the tennis team. I know I am still overweight. How much more weight should I lose?(I'm 14 yrs old)

first of all WTG! congrats!

Given that you are an athlete, and muscle weighs more than fat, the standard charts may not be the best guide for you. Talk to your coach, ask your doctor.

You are losing weight at the right time in your life. And as long as you stay active and watch what you eat you should never have a weight problem again. Good luck.

Congratulations on the weight loss! Now it just depends on where you will be comfortable. Pick a size and try to get there rather than an exact weight. At that weight though and your height you should be fine.

I'm also 14 and like most of us teenage girls am really concerned about my weight and looks, especially when recently I was in the lavatory's at school and heard some girls in my year making mean comments about my friends weight. I could do with losing weight and i just think, keep going until your happy with your size and look the way you want to look, don't worry about people saying things like ; you're too fat' or 'you're too slim'
